Job descriptionThe salary and benefits package is exceptional and will be more than competitive with a minimum 2 year salary guarantee and bonus potential. Full complement of benefits, health and dental for the family, long term and short disability, life insurance, 403(b) tax shelter annuity, 457(b) deferred compensation, and money purchase pension plan for retirement (one of the very few hospitals with this great benefit). Malpractice insurance (retroactive & tail). 30 days of vacation. 10 days CME, $7,000 for CME expenses and dues / subscriptions The compensation model is productivity driven and based on WRVUs with obtainable bonus incentives. Possession and maintenance of a Physician's License from the State of North Carolina and certifications from the DEA. Must be a member in good standing of the Medical Staff of the hospital. Board Certified or Board Eligible required.

EP Cardiology job opening in New Bern, NC Located on the North Carolina coast - 45 miles from Greenville, NC and 110 miles from Raleigh, NC Position Details :
- Seeking an EP Cardiologist to join a thriving group in coastal NC. This dynamic, hospital-owned multispecialty group consist of 100+ physicians and extenders with offices in four coastal NC counties.
- Full-time, permanent position
- Employed
- The Cardiology Team currently has 13 Cardiologists and 3 Cardiac Thoracic & Vascular Surgeons in the group. This well-established, well-respected group includes 5 Interventional Cardiologists, 2 Electrophysiologists, as well as invasive and general Cardiologists.
- Call schedule will include general Cardiology call
- Job Summary : The Cardiologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases of the heart and its functions by : examining patient for symptoms indicative of heart disorders using medical instruments and equipment, as well as studying diagnostic images and electrocardiograph recordings to aid in making diagnoses, prescribing medications, and recommending dietary and activity programs as indicated.
