Finance Manager- Contract Services

Responsibilities include supporting PSG Floorcovering sales related strategic priorities through timely and effective execution of contracts, bids and other documents while protecting the interests and assets of the Sherwin-Williams Company through appropriate compliance and due diligence with all federal and state laws and regulations.

Because this role involves access to confidential financial information, the Company has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and to provide similar protections for its clients and potential investments.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

CORE RESPONSIBILITY 1 : CONTRACT AND DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT

• Ensure all contracts, bids, vendor agreements received are processed and negotiated in a timely manner consistent with helping secure sales while protecting the interests of the Sherwin-Williams Company.
• Ensure communication of any concerns with the terms and conditions of any documents to the appropriate level of management along with a recommendation on how to proceed towards a successful outcome.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with Division Management, Legal, Risk, Employee Relations and other departments to help improve the management of documents and minimize risk.
• Explain and provide training & direction to floorcovering facilities and the field Credit / Financial organization as it pertains to the specifics in contracts e.g. prevailing wage, MBE / WBE & Section 3 requirements, invoicing requirements, AIA requirements etc.
• Provide reporting for management as required
