Job description

GMP Cleaner

We are seeking a dedicated GMP Cleaner for the 3rd shift from 8pm to 4 : 30am, Monday through Friday. This position transitions to a union role after 90 days. As a GMP Cleaner, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and sanitized GMP environment to control contamination and support manufacturing operations. This requires strict compliance with GMP standards, establishing cleaning protocols, and adhering to SOPs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine GMP-level cleaning of assigned areas, ensuring all surfaces are cleaned and sanitized to standards.
  • Vacuum all floors using cleanroom-rated vacuums.
  • Damp mop floors using approved disinfectants and cleanroom-rated equipment, following cleanroom procedures.
  • Wipe and clean all horizontal and vertical surfaces, including doors, frames, glass, and partitions using Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA).
  • Pull and replace tacky mats; clean under mats thoroughly.
  • Damp dust ceiling air conditioning diffusers, wall grilles, registers, and other ventilation components.
  • Clean floor surfaces as needed according to GMP protocols.
  • Complete all GMP documentation with accuracy.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
  • Familiarity with documentation, inventory management, SOP, EHS, and PPE.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is primarily a cleanroom setting within a newly constructed 120,000 square foot building, complete with office and event space. The facility is designed to support the manufacture of PriMatrix and SurgiMend, which are tissue technologies used in wound care, hernia repair, and breast reconstruction.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Braintree, Massachusetts.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.90 / hr.
