An educational staffing agency is recruiting a Substitute Registered Nurse to provide flexible coverage in the Lynnwood area schools. The ideal candidate is a licensed RN in Washington, ready to complete state fingerprinting, and comfortable working in varied school settings.
Responsibilities :
Offer on-site nursing support for students presenting with acute illness or injury, and oversee first-aid response.
Maintain and update health documentation, ensure compliance with school district and state guidelines.
Coordinate with school personnel, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to provide holistic student care.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school health plans, monitor student reactions.
Assist with preventive health initiatives, screenings, chronic condition monitoring, and student re-entry following illness.
Qualifications / Desired Experience :
Current Washington State RN license.
Proven experience in school nursing, pediatric nursing, or a related clinical setting preferred.
Completion of state-issued fingerprinting and successful background clearance mandatory.
Strong communication skills, ability to adapt to shifting assignments, handle sensitive health situations with discretion.
Knowledge of school health best practices, HIPAA / FERPA regulations, and independent working ability.

Compensation for this position ranges from $30.34 to $60.34. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
