Job Title : Quality Control Technician

Work Schedule : 2 : 00 p.m. – 10 : 00 p.m. Monday – Friday; ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Reports to : Quality Control Supervisor
Supervisory Responsibilities : None
Pay : $20.50 / hour with $1.00 / hour shift differential, this position is eligible for a pay increase once qualified then after three years of experience.
Location : Onsite Newton NC
Position Summary : Quality Control (QC) Technician is responsible for accurately testing and approving incoming raw materials and manufactured products, according to standard procedures and specifications. Ensures quality through testing and inspecting at various stages of the production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality.

Acute hearing is necessary for telephone and in-person communication with customers and fellow employees, and visual acuity sufficient to read a computer screen and paper documents.
Working Conditions
This position typically functions in a combination of an office and plant environment; there will be exposure to moderate noise levels, fumes, dust, chemicals, heat / cold, and allergens especially in plant / warehouse environment.
