The Sr.Software Engineering Manager will be responsible for the managementand leadership of software engineering resources to accomplishgrowth and innovation objectives.
Responsible for overallproduct development and sustainment, talent development; managementof cross-functional product development teams;
creation of valuedtechnical innovation. Ensure compliance with product safety,cost,reliability.
WhatWill YouDo?

Projectcoordination with various business functions including safety,quality, product development, operations, sales, finance,marketing, and leadershipteam
Oversee and leadproject teams in the planning, execution, and control of projectsdelivering new products and sustaining current softwareproducts
Participate inestablishing long-range product and technologystrategy
Proactively reviewsand communicate project status to leadership team; identify andrecommend appropriate plan revisions; update plans asappropriate
Responsible formanaging projectbudget
Conducts regulardesign, quality, cost, manufacturability and safety reviews withproject team and supportfunctions.
Coordinates withlegal department on intellectual propertyactivity
Supervisory
Manageand direct engineers, project managers, other engineering managersor technical support resources under yoursupervision
Coach and leadteam with personal and professional development; provideopportunities and resources forlearning
Identify and createstrategy for future talent requirements and skillsets
Conducts performanceand salary reviews on an annualbasis
Establishes team andindividualobjectives
Manages assignedresources to complete approved projects in support of goals andobjectives.
Technical
Establisharchitecture, security, development and sustaining strategies forsoftwareproducts.
Establishes oroversee product specifications, features, design objectives,budget, andschedule.
Conductfeasibility reviews to support selection of optimum solutionalternatives.
Works withvendors to insure selection of quality and reliable tools, andprocesses.
Learn andimplement new technologies to improve the product developmentprocess.
Stay informed onindustry trends related to design, manufacturing andmaterials.
Knowledge ofAzure, AWS, C++, Java, Agile and Scrum, Devops,SQL
Preferred knowledgeMONGO, cyber security, AI, and datawarehousing.
WhatDo YouNeed?
Tobe considered for this role, an individual should meet thefollowing minimalrequirements :
ProfessionalEngineering license in a related discipline,or
Bachelor of Science in arelated engineering degree from a college / university accredited(ABET or equivalent) engineering program, Software Engineering(preferred).
Computer Engineering, Data Science or ElectricalEngineering discipline. Computer Science will not beconsidered.
Master ofScience in a related engineering degree from a college / universitywith an accredited ( ABET or equivalent) engineering program orMBA.
Sr II-15 yearsmanagement experience and relatedexperience
Sr I-10 yearsmanagement experience and relatedexperience
Demonstratedbusiness acumen in developing technical and budgetarystrategies

CompetitiveSalary The pay range takes into accountskills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to behired at or near the top of the range;
compensation decisions aredependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Cashcompensation is one piece of our competitive total rewards package.
