Emergency (Veterinarian)

Introduction Our client is a general practice, emergency, and specialty center currently seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join their comprehensive care team. Working Hours / Rota Details regarding the hospital's opening hours, specific doctor hours, and full-time or part-time status were not specified. The position is designed to support the emergency service within a multi-doctor environment, with scheduling aligned to emergency coverage requirements. Role Description and Responsibilities The Emergency Veterinarian will manage urgent and critical cases, triaging and stabilizing patients while collaborating with specialists and the general practice team. Responsibilities include emergency diagnostics, treatment planning, inpatient care, and coordination with the hospital's surgical and internal medicine departments. Practice Details The hospital features 11 exam rooms, three surgery suites, and is equipped with digital radiology, digital dental radiology, CT scan, ultrasound, endoscopy, in-house laboratory, advanced monitoring, ventilator, and state-of-the-art oxygen cages. Available services include diagnostic imaging, dermatology, CT scans, EKG, PennHip evaluations, OFA X-rays, and a range of surgical options including soft tissue surgery. Preventive and wellness care services offered span adult and senior wellness, parasite control, immunizations, DNA breed testing, dental care, anesthesia, pain management, and more. The hospital supports intensive care, isolation, transfusion therapy, and hospitalization services. Team The medical team consists of 11 DVMs, supported by a tenured and experienced staff. The hospital promotes a collaborative and team-oriented culture across its general, emergency, and specialty services.
