CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineering Lead within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. You must have a passion for keeping pace with rapidly evolving technology advancements and leveraging your knowledge on a highly collaborative team to deliver state-of-the-art capabilities.

The Systems Engineering Lead leads cross-functional teams to define, develop, and verify complex systems, while also managing requirements, risk, and project timelines. Key responsibilities involve acting as a technical leader, ensuring system performance, safety, and reliability, and mentoring junior engineers to meet project goals.

This position is located in USA VA Arlington, however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

• . System Design and Integration : Developing system architectures, defining interfaces, and ensuring components work together seamlessly.
• . Requirements Management : Analyzing and documenting user needs and translating them into technical requirements.
• . Troubleshooting and Problem Solving : Identifying and resolving issues within a system, often involving hardware, software, and network components.
• . System Maintenance and Upgrades : Performing regular maintenance, applying updates, and ensuring systems are secure and reliable.
• . Collaboration and Communication : Working with various teams, including developers, testers, and stakeholders, to ensure successful system implementation and operation.
• . Performance Monitoring and Optimization : Tracking system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to improve efficiency.
• . Documentation : Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for system design, configuration, and troubleshooting procedures.
• . Security Implementation : Ensuring systems are protected from unauthorized access and potential threats.
• . Project Management : Managing the implementation of systems projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 - $218,200.00.
