Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an inpatient rehab night shift position requiring a GA state license and BLS certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Inpatient rehabilitation setting focusing on acute care
  • Night shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00
  • Assignment is 13 weeks in length with possible extension
  • Role involves working every other weekend and floating as needed
  • Patient population includes post-operative, neurologic, orthopedic, and complex medical cases
  • Caseload includes conditions such as post-stroke rehab, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, total joint replacement, and neurodegenerative disorders
  • Cerner EMR experience required
  • Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment planning for diverse acute rehab patients
  • Team environment with expectations to float between units as necessary
  • Navy blue scrubs required
  • Pre-start completion of up to 8 hours of modules via HealthStream is required
  • Minimal time off is permitted, especially during holidays, and requests must be submitted in advance
  • Candidates residing 31-50 miles from the facility will be accepted at a local rate; candidates within 30 miles are not eligible
  • Submission requires proof of license or documentation showing licensure in process

  • Active GA state Physical Therapist license required; license required if applicable
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum one year of recent Physical Therapist experience required
  • Experience treating post-surgical, neurologic, and musculoskeletal conditions required
  • Cerner EMR experience required
  • Travel experience preferred but first-time travelers considered
