Backhoe Operator (Equipment Operator)

Location : Springfield, MA

Department : Maintenance

Starting Rate of Pay : $35.74 p / hr.

Job Summary :

• Performs work consistent with training provided and / or skills attained or held.
• Operates various motor vehicles and associated equipment including pay loader / backhoe, Boom Truck, Trenching Machine, Crew Trucks and Mueller machines.
• Assist in and / or perform the duties in related job series classifications; work as crew member when not operating equipment and perform other similar duties as assigned.
• May be assigned other work in accordance with Labor Agreement.

Schedules :

Monday Friday, or Tuesday Saturday as scheduled with hour lunch. This schedule is subject to change for vacations, extended illness and / or in accordance with the Labor Agreement.

Wage Progression :

Eligible for automatic increase and progression in job related series for the position of Backhoe Operator, in accordance with the Labor Agreement.
