• And much more Primary Duties Coordinates with Clinical and IT Leadership to improve clinical outcomes through process improvement within the clinical systems. Provides on-going support including resolution of application system problems and development of enhancements to meet changing needs and priorities, post implementation; interfaces with clinical system vendors and serves as site liaison. Conducts and facilitates the clinical system user training during general orientation. Help Desk and Customer Service Interviews clinical staff to determine nature and scope of the issue, and the appropriate response / action. Diagnoses, resolves and closes customer issues according to service level guidelines. Promptly escalates issues to higher level technical support or management when necessary. Serves as on-call resource for clinical system issues / questions.

Job Summary The Clinical Informatics Analyst serves as a liaison between Information Systems (Medhost) and assigned departments by facilitating effective integration of applications across departments. Additionally, this position works with the leadership team, users, and system vendors to document and resolve issues, coordinate system changes and assist user departments in developing better procedures to complement the applications systems. Reports to : Director of Information Technology FLSA : Non-Exempt Job Requirements Minimum Education Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred. Required Licenses Other Current Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse preferred Required Skills Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience preferred. Medhost experience required. Three years of experience in applying analytical tools to improve processes and resolve problems. Experience with data analysis, data management associated with systems evaluation, clinical research, and analysis tools and methodologies. In depth knowledge of hospital information systems. Able to work on multiple complex tasks as simultaneously, develop / executive action plans to address specific issues. High degree of interpersonal skills. Essential Functions Serves as liaison between Information Systems and assigned departments. Facilitates effective integration of applications across departments. Provides EMR training to all employed and locum Providers. Works with management, users, and system vendors to document and resolve problems, coordinate system changes and assist user departments in developing better procedures to complement the applications systems. Interacts with all levels of the organization to help assure accurate and timely processing of application system functions. With vendor support and user department participation and develops appropriate training materials to assist user departments in maintaining effective operations. Develops skills in the use of report writer programs to develop reports which assist user departments in working with the application systems. Organizes multiple assigned projects concurrently through effective time and resource management. Researches and makes recommendations on appropriate projects, situations, and / or problems. Accepts phone and / or email messages offering support to peers as necessary. Be creative, flexible and innovative in organization-wide problem solving; recommend technical solutions to others as applicable. Maintain effective communications with customers, peers and administration. Perform all other duties as assigned. Functional Demands Populations Served : Does not treat or care for patients.
