Pay Information

$1,900 to $2,000 per week

About The Position

  • Demonstrates expertise in sterile and aseptic techniques, anatomy, surgical procedures, and instrumentation use in accordance with AORN standards.
  • Inspects and maintains all sterile items for packaging integrity, indicators, and expiration. Ensures a safe and properly functioning surgical environment.
  • Monitors and protects the sterile field, identifying and correcting contamination risks under supervision.
  • Works toward competency with Tier 1 surgical cases.
  • Maintains flexibility and supports individualized patient care within scope of practice.
  • Engages in effective communication during surgical team briefings, time-outs, and debriefings.
  • Assists with patient transports, room turnovers, and room preparation.
  • Models professionalism and stays current with new surgical technologies and equipment.
  • Cleans and prepares instruments for sterilization post-procedure.
  • Adheres to Just Culture principles and all HIPAA compliance requirements.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
  • Active Colorado Surgical Technologist License required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association.
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Must be proficient in computer skills necessary for online learning and electronic documentation.
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
