Medical Assistant (Oncology)

Seeking Experienced Medical Assistant UPMC Hillman Cancer Center (Shadyside, Pittsburgh, PA)

Schedule : Full-time, MondayFriday, daylight hours (40 hours / week). No evenings, weekends, or holidays!

We are seeking experienced Medical Assistants to join our team and support our oncology physician in a busy outpatient clinic.

What We're Looking For :

Experience required in :

• Rooming patients and preparing them for exams
• Taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems

Strong communication skills and a commitment to compassionate, high-quality care.

About the Role :

As a Medical Assistant on the Hillman Cancer Center's 2nd Floor, you'll play a critical role in supporting our oncology physician and care team. This fast-paced clinic serves patients across medical oncology, surgical oncology, and benign hematology, creating a dynamic environment for learning and growth.

Responsibilities :

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology, examination, diagnostic and treatment room responsibilities.

Previous Medical Assistant experience is highly preferred with experience rooming patients and taking vitals.
