Summary
The Marriage and Family Therapist is responsible for providing a wide range of culturally and linguistically appropriate mental health and psychosocial services. The MFT will provide direct practice mental health services such as clinical assessments and evaluations, treatment planning, individual / group / family / couple therapy, crisis intervention, clinical case management, and internal and external care coordination.

Job Requirements
Education : Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Degree must have been conferred by a school, college, or university accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
Certification : Active Marriage and Family Therapist license in the state of California.
Experience : Experience working in a community health or mental health setting.
Verbal and Written Skills to perform the job : Bilingual preferred. Familiarity with basic word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Accurate keyboarding skills.
Physical and Mental Requirements : Work involves sitting, talking, hearing, using hands to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reaching with hands and arms. The employee may be required to push, pull, lift, and / or carry up to 20 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
