About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Shift : Night 4x12-Hour Rotation

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum 2 years in an emergency room setting

License : Client License required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC

Must-Have :

• Must have New York license in hand
• Must be available for holidays
• Must be more than 75 miles away from the facility

Description :

This position requires experience in emergency nursing with previous charge experience preferred.

Candidates should have familiarity with patient ratio management and charting systems, specifically Epic.

The role involves working with a diverse patient population, including adults and geriatrics.

The emergency room treats all types of emergency diagnoses.

Candidates should possess skills in arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, and management of ventilated patients.

Experience with trauma cases, spinal cord injuries, and advanced emergency procedures is essential.

Candidates must be able to perform triage and monitor procedural sedation.

The position requires floating to different areas within the facility as needed.

Total patient ratios during day shifts are expected to be around 5 patients per nurse.

Additional interdisciplinary support will be provided, including therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.

Personal protective measures and isolation precautions will be observed as part of the role.

Candidates should demonstrate solid critical thinking skills and the ability to interpret dysrhythmias effectively.

Flexibility in shift assignments, including potential night shifts, is required.
