Job Summary : The Inpatient Nursing Manager oversees daily operations and staff performance within the nursing and behavioral health technician teams. This role ensures high-quality, compliant, and compassionate care while managing staffing, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. The manager promotes effective workflows, supports professional development, ensures adherence to policies and regulatory standards, and fosters collaboration among interdisciplinary teams to provide safe and effective client care.
Core Responsibilities :
- Supervise and manage a team of nursing supervisors that oversees nurses and BHT's, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing and BHT teams, ensuring efficient workflows, optimal resource allocation, and effective utilization of staff.
- Ensure that nursing and BHT staff provide appropriate care and treatment to clients.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of care by monitoring adherence to quality improvement initiatives, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assess and manage potential risks to client safety and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Advocate for the needs and rights of clients with behavioral health complications, ensuring that they receive compassionate and effective care.
- Implement and oversee nursing and BHT policies and procedures.
- Ensures that documentation is completed timely and accurately.
- Provides leadership and support during crises or emergencies involving clients.
- Lead education and training initiatives of nursing supervisors based on best practices in behavioral health care, new treatment modalities, and regulatory requirements.

- Build and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders, including medical staff, administrators, and other interdisciplinary team members.
- Serve as a liaison between the nursing and BHT's department and other departments, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as medical providers and therapists, to develop and implement comprehensive and individualized treatment plans for clients.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements : Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
License Requirements :
Registered Nurse License, valid in Ohio.BLS / CPR Certification required, will train.Must have a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, be 21 years or older, and be deemed insurable through Team Recovery's insurance carrier.Experience Requirements :
