Job Title : Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machinist who is proficient in setting up and operating CNC machining centers, as well as manual lathe and milling centers. The ideal candidate will be adept at adjusting tool and fixture offsets to achieve documented material tolerances and will have the ability to read and interpret work instructions and product / component drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances for producing production parts.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machining centers and manual lathe and milling centers.
• Adjust tool and fixture offsets to achieve documented material tolerances.
• Read and interpret work instructions and product / component drawings.
• Follow work order instructions and accurately record task times.
• Use precision measuring equipment to check parts according to engineering documents.
• Maintain cleanliness and service of work area and machines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

Our facility operates on three shifts : 1st shift from 6 AM to 2 : 30 PM, 2nd shift from 2 PM to 10 : 30 PM, and 3rd shift from 10 : 30 PM to 7 AM. The work environment is equipped with both manual and CNC machining technologies, offering a dynamic and supportive atmosphere for professional development.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Leandro, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00 / hr.
