Surgery - General Physician Assistant

We are hiring a locum Thoracic Surgery Physician Assistant to come out for 6-months and join our team in Los Angeles, CA Come live in one of the most beautiful locations in the states while allowing our team to provide top Thoracic Surgery coverage during the locum assignment.

Start : ASAP

End : 26-weeks

Description : First Assisting in 100% cases. No preop or post op. All Intraop, assisting surgeon in the case in robotics case utilizing Davinci XI robot. Current PAs cross between all services, but Thoracic is the major need. Provider will be in cases with a surgeon 100% of the time.

Procedures :

Thoracic : thoracotomies, lung lobectomies

Gyn : hysterectomies

Urology : prostatectomies, nephrectomies

Schedule : Monday - Friday, starting either 6 : 45am or 9 : 00am. (Open to locals who want to work 2 days / week, or limited coverage.)

Call : Call rotating weekends and holidays.

Licensure : Will Wait for CA License!
