Job Description :
- The primary responsibilities include day-to-day oversight of departmental goals for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity and Employee Development.
- Additional duties include maintaining and repairing specialized equipment to established parameters and specifications.
- This position collaborates with the entire manufacturing team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of experience operating a Scanning Electron Microscope, troubleshooting and electronic equipment repair OR a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required skills
- Minimum of a 2-year associate degree in a technical field like Electronic Engineering Technology, Microelectronics or Mechatronics preferred
- Military Technical Training in lieu of a technical degree may also be considered
Preferred Experience
Experience with low volume, highly complex manufacturing processesDemonstrated ability in successfully leading a team of colleagues5+ years of manufacturing experience with at least 2 years in a leadership roleAt least 2 years of validated experience in a job-related industry with proficiency in operating Scanning Electron Microscopes & Mechanical and Electrical complex high-tech equipment repairExperience working in the field of Electronics and proficiency in Ultra High Vacuum strongly preferredExperience with troubleshooting Scanning Electron Microscopes down to the component levelExperience in lean manufacturing, 6S and continuous improvement a plusExperience with Windows-based and MS Office programs a plus (Word, Excel, Outlook and Access)Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
