About Omega Medical Imaging
Omega is a U.S.-based manufacturer of the world’s only AI-powered Region of Interest (ROI) X-ray system for interventional imaging (fluoro & cine). Our technology is not just innovative, it’s transformative, delivering up to 84% additional radiation reduction for patients and everyone in the procedure room, as proven by peer-reviewed studies.
We proudly design, manufacture, and support our solutions in-house, fostering a collaborative, mission-driven culture where every team member plays a role in helping us shape the future of medical imaging.
We believe ROI-based radiation reduction should become the standard of care. We’re not just designing and selling solutions —we’re starting a movement.
About the Role :
We are looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer who can bridge the gap between engineering and production to help us build interventional X-ray systems that are reliable, consistent, and efficient to produce. Our systems integrate robotic actuators, structural assemblies, and complex electrical wiring for imaging and motion control. You’ll own the process of turning engineering designs into repeatable, compliant builds – working directly with production, quality, and engineering to make it happen.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, work instructions, and documentation that ensure reliability and compliance (FDA QSR / ISO 13485).
- Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) during design reviews and throughout production.
- Work directly with the production team (IQ / OQ / PQ) to solve build issues, reduce nonconformances, and improve yield.
- Manage and improve BOMs, engineering releases, and controlled documentation in coordination with engineering and quality.
- Lead process validation, line setup, and workflow optimization for mechanical, electrical, and motion assemblies.
- Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement efforts to increase throughput and reduce waste.
- Participate in new product introductions and ensure smooth handoff from design to production.
- Implement root cause and corrective actions (CAPA) to prevent repeat issues and enhance long-term reliability.
- Support incoming inspection and help define what “good” looks like for critical parts and assemblies, set acceptance criteria, and work with Quality and suppliers when parts don’t meet spec.
