Practice & Schedule

Setting : Inpatient consult service, outpatient clinic & infusion center (attached to hospital Cancer Center)

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM (outpatient clinic)

Call : Shared call pool, 5 PM – 7 AM, supported by APPs

Call Ratio : 1 : 5

Patient Population : Adult, geriatric

Practice Mix : ~90% hematology,

Physicians in Practice : 6

APP Support : 5 inpatient (2 hospitals) + 6 outpatient

Average Patient Load :

Inpatient : 10–15 / day

Outpatient : 15 / day

Radiation Oncologists : On-site

EMR : Epic

Clinical Details

Required Procedures : FNA / Biopsy

Required Duties : Tumor Board participation, ordering tests & images, prescribing treatments

Credentialing : 90–120 days

Submission Requirements

Board Certified – REQUIRED

BLS – REQUIRED

Active Michigan License – Preferred (will review candidates who need to obtain)

Locum to Perm Attestation : Must confirm interest in permanent position

Bill Rates (malpractice included)

Hourly : $263
