The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) position involves providing anesthesia care for a variety of surgical cases, including obstetrics and cardiac surgeries, over an ongoing locum assignment in Port St. Lucie, FL. The CRNA will work a 4-day work week with on-call duties and will manage their own medications and perform procedures such as epidurals and spinals. SMART ensures comprehensive support including malpractice insurance and travel accommodations for the hired CRNA.

SMART is actively recruiting for a locum CRNA near Port St. Lucie, FL. Coverage is needed as soon as credentialed and will be ongoing for the next 6+ months during permanent recruitment.

Details Include :

• Active FL license required
• Schedule : 4 / 10 s w / 1-2 calls per month
• CRNA s push their own meds
• CRNA s do not do extremity blocks
• CRNA s do place / insert their own epidurals and spinals
• 12,500 annual surgical cases
• Approximately 1300 deliveries; 30% C-Sections rate
• Cases include General, OB, vascular, thoracic, neuro, endo
• Cardiac cases include : bread and butter cabbages, Aortic Valve Replacement, Mitral Valve Replacement, TAVA, Minimally invasive mitral valve replacement, ascending aorta repairs with or without circulatory arrest and thoracic
• SMART covers malpractice insurance, travel and accommodations while on assignment
