POSITION SUMMARY :
The Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of FPCSN, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, performance management, learning and development, change management, and total rewards. The CHRO establishes, evaluates and executes legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices to balance both employee needs and company interests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Strategic Leadership
Functions as a strategic business advisor to leadership regarding key organizational and management issues.
- Collaborates with executive leadership to define FPCSN’s long-term mission and goals, identify ways to support this mission through talent management, and establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the company.
- Identifies key performance indicators for HR metric dashboard that assesses the organization’s success and market competitiveness based on these metrics.
- Researches, develops, and implements total rewards to include competitive and cost-effective compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs.
- Completes workforce analysis, forecasting and planning to examine staffing needs, identity gaps and ensure that FPCSN maintains adequate staffing levels to fulfill its mandate and strategic objectives.
- Advances a strong employer branding strategy that reflects FPCSN’s values, culture, work environment and overall reputation for existing and future employees.
- Serves as subject matter expert on all Human Related matters.
HR Operations
Analyzes, evaluates and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures that govern employee behavior, organizational processes and decision-making.Develops a comprehensive talent acquisition and retention strategy to attract and retain best fit candidates to meet the human capital needs of FPCSN and ensures great candidate experience.Keeping abreast of employment laws, government regulations and public policies, and accordingly amending company policies to ensure organizational compliance.Collaborates with FPCSN leadership to create learning and development programs to contribute to a healthy corporate culture that supports growth and equal opportunity.Creates and manages end-to-end employee benefit solutions to include broker relationships, insurance pricing, plan selection, employee enrollments, education and compliance.Regularly review the compensation plan to ensure employees are fairly and equitably compensated, aligning with organizational goals, industry standards and legal requirements.Uses HR analytics to influence critical decisions and shape the future trajectory of FPCSN.People Operations
Establishes talent management strategies to engage, develop, and retain high performing employees.Establishes positive working relationships and credibility with employees and leadership to drive engagement companywide that increases staff morale and productivity.Continued focus on employee well-being, development, and professional success.Designs a performance management program aimed at boosting employee performance, overall effectiveness, and productivity through continuous monitoring and improvement.Manages the employee relations process to ensure effective conflict resolution that fosters a healthy and productive work environment.Fosters a positive company culture that enhances employee engagement and satisfaction levels.Administrative
Reporting on key HR metrics dashboardOversight for HR related projects and supporting other organizational projects.Development of employment guides, manuals, standard operating procedures, etc.Other duties as assigned.EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS :
Candidates should possess a diverse range of skills and experience including but not limited to :
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or similar relevant field of study (Master’s degree preferred)Human Resource Certification (PHR / SPHR, SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP or CHRO).5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years of Executive leadership experience (2 years in a Healthcare environment preferred)Required Skills and Abilities
Experience developing and implementing HR strategies.Strong business acumen and ability to align HR strategies with corporate objectives.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.Excellent organizational skills and acute attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Sound knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations.Knowledge and experience of varied HR Compliance platforms and HRIS (ADP preferred).Proficient in MS Office Suite or related software.Lifting Requirements
LIGHT – Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and / or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. The use of arm and / or leg control requires force greater than sedentary, but worker still sits majority of time.
