Travel CT Tech - $2,218 per week in Garden City, KS

Job Title : CT Technologist Profession : CT Technologist Specialty : CT (Computed Tomography) Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 12H Nights Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience License : Kansas license required Certifications : BLS (AHA), Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) Must-Have : Experience in performing CT scans, IV contrast administration Description : The department has one GE 64-slice scanner. The position does not require floating to cover other areas. Common types of imaging include all CT scans, strokes, and trauma cases. Technologists will perform an average number of scans / studies per day. The facility uses Epic EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS for documentation. Technologists will not be required to start IVs, as this will be managed in the emergency department or inpatient unit. There is no self-scheduling option; shifts are assigned. The position has weekend and holiday requirements. The department does not utilize Registered Radiology Assistants. A radiologist is typically in-house Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM. Scrubs are not provided, and there is no specific dress code. The department will conduct orientation to familiarize technologists with procedures and protocols. The cancellation policy allows for the cancellation of up to four shifts per 13-week assignment.
