Job descriptionManufacture complex parts to precise tolerances. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specs. Conduct inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools. Collaborate with engineers and quality teams to improve processes. Document work and maintain compliance with DoD and internal standards. Work with materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium. Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance checks. 2+ years of CNC machining experience in a job or project shop. Proficient with CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, Okuma). Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or MIL-SPEC quality standards. Ability to read blueprints and apply GD&T. U.S. Citizenship (required for DoD projects). Experience with 3-, 4-, or 5-axis machines. CAM software experience (e.g., Mastercam). Prior work in defense or aerospace manufacturing. Active security clearance.
