Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Office Engineer for projects in Southern California.

As Office Engineer, you will play a vital role in executing the construction of water and wastewater projects by providing office engineering, project administration, document control services, and technical support. Must have experience working with a team, with responsibilities including oversight of construction, coordination with the Contractor, review of contract plans, specifications, and bid documents, and coordination with the owner and third-party stakeholders. Additional desired experience includes change order management, administrative and technical management support, knowledge of construction methodologies and practices (for the purposes of constructability review), field coordination of work, and activation and commissioning of new assets.

Responsibilities

• Assist Construction Manager with day-to-day management of construction projects
• Review and analyze project documents, including drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure compliance and identify any potential issues or conflicts.
• Review, log, and maintain project related documents including, but not limited to, daily inspection reports, tests reports and data, meeting minutes, schedules, RFIs, submittals, progress payment applications and change orders, as-built drawings, and final construction reports.
• Under the direction and supervision of the Construction Manager, prepares correspondence, reports, and recommendations concerning construction issues.
• Utilize project / construction management software and tools such as MS Office, Procore, Adobe Acrobat.
• Other duties, as required.

Compensation : In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation :  Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
