Position Overview\n

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Women’s Center team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a 100-bed facility, situated off I-81 in Wytheville, Virginia. Our facility provides care to approximately 36,000 individuals and is proud to have earned the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval.

\n\nShift Details\n \n

  • Shift : 6 : 30 PM - 6 : 30 AM

    • \n

  • Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

    • \n

  • Weekend Hours : Every other weekend

    • \n \n\nUnit Information\n

    The Women's Center includes :

    \n \n

  • 4 LDRP Beds

    • \n

  • 2 Antepartum Beds

    • \n

  • 10 Postpartum / Post-Op / C-Section Beds

    • \n \n

    Patient ratios are maintained according to AWOHNN and state requirements. Our facility utilizes Phillips Intellispace Perinatal and Meditech Magic 5.6.7 for electronic health records.

    \n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Provide care to labor and delivery patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns.

    • \n

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

    • \n

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

    • \n

  • Support and educate patients and their families on care plans and post-discharge instructions.

    • \n

  • Willing to float to other areas if needed.

    • \n \n\nRequirements\n \n

  • Education : Associate's Degree in Nursing required.

    • \n

  • Experience : Several years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery preferred.

    • \n

  • Certifications : Active RN license required; ACLS, NRP preferred.

    • \n

  • Personality Fit : Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
