Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (CF's Welcome to Apply)

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to children with communication, feeding, and language delays across a variety of natural environments. The SLP collaborates closely with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to support each child's functional communication and developmental goals.

• Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, feeding, and communication disorders in accordance with DC Early Intervention and Medicaid guidelines.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and deliver evidence-based therapy aligned with each child's goals.
• Provide coaching and family education to promote carryover of skills into daily routines.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, behavior analysts, social workers, and developmental specialists to support integrated care.
• Document session notes, evaluations, and progress reports accurately and within required timelines.
• Participate in IFSP (Individualized Family Service Plan) or IEP meetings as appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and Medicaid documentation standards.
• Adhere to Coastal Healthcare Services' productivity and professional conduct standards.
• Qualifications
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the District of Columbia.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; CFY candidates considered.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of pediatric experience preferred (Early Intervention or school-based experience highly desirable).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual skills are a plus.
• Productivity & Caseload Expectations
• Full-time SLPs are expected to maintain an average of
• 6.5 treatment sessions per day
• or equivalent caseload in line with Coastal Healthcare productivity standards.
