Overview
The Food & Beverage General Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the food and beverage operation across multiple venues within the property, including restaurants, bars, lounges, and in-room dining. This position is accountable for driving revenue, optimizing operational efficiency, ensuring compliance, enhancing guest satisfaction, and cultivating a high-performance team culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning, execution, and continuous improvement of the overall Food & Beverage business unit.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and capital plans; oversee P&L performance and implement cost-control measures.
- Ensure all food and beverage outlets deliver exceptional guest experiences aligned with brand standards and service expectations.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of managers and supervisors across restaurants, lounges, and bar operations; support development of future leaders through effective succession planning.
- Oversee training programs to elevate team performance, ensure compliance with safety and health regulations, and enhance service consistency.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on marketing strategies, event programming, and menu development to drive traffic and increase revenue.
- Implement systems to measure and respond to guest feedback, adjust offerings based on market trends and guest preferences.
- Maintain strict compliance with Alcohol Beverage Control regulations, Health Department mandates, Gaming regulations, and OSHA standards.
- Create an empowered, inclusive, and performance-driven culture, leading by example with integrity, accountability, and excellence.
- Lead safety, sanitation, and risk management protocols across all F&B operations.
- Partner cross-functionally with hotel, casino, marketing, and entertainment divisions to create cohesive guest experiences.

Advanced knowledge of restaurant, bar, and large-scale hospitality operations.Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and profit-and-loss management.Inspirational leadership and team development skills.Strong business insight and problem-solving abilities.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Ability to analyze trends, develop strategies, and implement process improvements.Proficient in industry-standard POS and inventory control systems.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Deep knowledge of health, sanitation, safety, and labor laws, including OSHA and local regulatory compliance.Qualifications
Must-Haves :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.Experience : Minimum of five (5) years' progressive leadership experience in multi-outlet food and beverage operations, preferably in a casino, hotel, or high-volume entertainment setting.Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Virginia Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live's operating standards.Must be comfortable working in an environment where alcohol is served and smoking is permitted.Physical Requirements
Ability to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Ability to stand and walk for long periods.Ability to climb stairs, bend, stretch, and lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to work in environments with variable temperature and noise levels.Visual and auditory acuity to monitor guest activity and operational standards.What We Offer
