Structural Project Engineer

The Project Engineer will work independently under the direct supervision of the Engineer of Record, contributing to the structural design team in the coordination and execution of various building projects during both design and construction phases. Your Impact :

• Participate in coordination meetings with other disciplines, design reviews with supervisors, clients, and owners, and attend work sessions with owner-client agencies for additional scope items.
• Coordinate the design and documentation to complete construction documents on schedule and within budget.
• Author and maintain structural specifications, select construction procedures, determine materials and member sizes, and perform all necessary calculations for proper design.
• Assist with shop drawing reviews, RFIs (requests for information), change proposal requests, and change orders, incorporating changes into project documents.
• Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills to relay design and coordination details to project team members and author defensible engineering reports, memos, and email correspondence.
• Conduct site observations during construction and author reports based on findings during the Construction Administration phase.
