Responsibilities Work in an acute care ultrasound department with 2 scanning rooms General ultrasound studies performed with an average of 8 studies per day Uses GE Logic 9 and GE Logic 10 equipment Epic EMR and McKesson PACS are used for documentation and imaging Scheduled for day shifts : Wednesday 7 : 00 AM–3 : 30 PM, Thursday through Sunday 8 : 00 AM–4 : 30 PM Weekend coverage is required 1–2 call shifts required per assignment, with a 45-minute response time No floating to other areas is required Must wear black pants and a solid color scrub top per dress code Radiologist is in-house and available remotely No IV starts are required for this position Orientation is 12 hours Occasional holiday coverage may be required Returning candidates must not have been employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity in the past year unless PRN through outside firms Requirements Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience required Active ARDMS and BLS certifications required Experience with Epic EMR and McKesson PACS preferred Ability to perform general ultrasound exams License required if applicable Copy of driver’s license required for consideration Two professional references : one supervisor from within the past 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the past 3 years Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627185.
