Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Understand the unique needs of each patient by developing individualized strategies that aim to successfully achieve their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Draw upon evidence-based methods to promote enhancement in patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily activity capacities.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Engage closely with other OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Guide Patients and Their Families: Provide education on therapeutic techniques to enable patients and caregivers to foster continued progress in their own environments.
• Track and Document Patient Progress: Systematically monitor clinical results and make timely adjustments to treatment strategies as necessary to keep patients on their path to improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Continuing education and post-graduate certifications are both encouraged and supported.

Licensure

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is mandatory.
