Job Title : Transportation Clerk Oversize Load Permitter
Summary :
Orders all permits for oversize / over height shipments
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Keeps up a construction restriction map daily.
- Prepares the routing for all trips keeping width and height in mind.
- Orders all state and county permits, some done online, some faxed to permit service or county offices.
- Monitors all annual permits issued to the drivers and sometimes ordering a new one if needed.
- Handles phone calls from drivers about routing issues.
- Prepares permit changes when needed because of trucks going down or house not measuring what factory reports.
