Job Description

The role of a General Production Worker involves performing a variety of tasks and processes to complete electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies. This includes activities such as soldering, cable assembly, machine operation, final assembly, PCB, machine crimping, and ribbon cable assembly. As a Production Associate, you will follow established methods and procedures, ensuring tasks are completed according to manufacturing schedules with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Hand soldering of wires to electrical connectors and PCBs.
• Assemble electromechanical assemblies as required.
• Review and complete required production documentation.
• Read and understand moderately complex assembly instructions.
• Comprehend written and verbal assignments.

The facility spans 154,000 square feet, is temperature controlled, and houses over 550 people. With seven SMT lines, it offers openings on both 1st shift (Monday-Friday, 6 : 00am-2 : 30pm) and 2nd shift (Monday-Thursday, 2 : 30pm-1 : 00am).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00 / hr.
