Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and support design, permitting, and client management efforts for a diverse range of land development projects, with a strong emphasis on K-12 school projects.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead site / civil engineering projects from concept through completion, including site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control.
  • Oversee stormwater management design, hydrologic / hydraulic analysis, and SWPPP preparation.
  • Drive business development efforts, develop new client relationships, and maintain existing partnerships.
  • Work closely with office leadership to manage project teams, develop growth plans, and ensure efficient staff utilization.
  • Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions across residential, institutional, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
  • Integrate site / civil efforts with geotechnical and environmental engineering disciplines.
  • Contribute to technical and proposal writing efforts and represent the firm in professional organisations and community initiatives.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 10+ years of local experience in land development engineering, with preferred expertise in K-12 school projects.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage complex site / civil design efforts.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and / or Civil 3D is preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with business development and client management.
