Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Join a dynamic pharmacy team in Clearwater, FL! This temporary 13-week contract position offers a fast-paced, rewarding environment where your skills in prescription processing, inventory management, and patient communication are valued. The role is Monday through Friday, 9 : 00 AM 5 : 30 PM, with a start date ASAP or approximately 1.52 weeks after offer.
Key Responsibilities :
Accurately process prescriptions, handle insurance adjudications, and resolve claim rejections.
Prepare, package, and label medications for pharmacist verification.
Perform data entry, manage prescription paperwork, and communicate professionally with patients and prescribers.
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, restocking, and expiration checks.
Assist with returns, medication quarantines, and destruction procedures.
Cross-train in various pharmacy functions to support team needs.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Medicare / Medicaid, and insurance regulations.
Required Qualifications :
High School diploma or GED.
Active FL Pharmacy Technician license in good standing.
PTCB certification.
Minimum 2 years of pharmacy technician experience.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills with patients, providers, and internal teams.
