Senior Mainframe Developer

As a Senior Mainframe Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and maintaining robust mainframe applications that support critical business operations. You will be a valued member of the Technology & Engineering team and work collaboratively with offshore developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders. In this role, you will :

• Analyze and interpret business requirements to design scalable mainframe solutions.
• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, and JCL.
• Create and integrate new zOS-based APIs to enhance system functionality.
• Collaborate with offshore teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of development tasks.

Salary and other compensation. Applications will be accepted until October 30th, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $60,000 $93,500, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
