Position Title :

SailPoint Senior Analyst / Tier 2 Specialist

Location :

Washington, DC (Remote with up to 10% travel)

Clearance Requirements :

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

(Active or prior federal security clearance, especially Top Secret, preferred)

Position Status : Full-Time (Contract)

Pay Rate :

$113,000 - $188,000 / year (W2)

Compensation based on experience, certifications, and clearance level

Position Description :

We are seeking an experienced SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) Senior Analyst / Tier 2 Specialist to support a high-impact federal program. In this hybrid technical / business role, you'll serve as the SME for SailPoint IIQ configuration, enhancements, and Tier 2 support. You'll translate identity governance needs into practical solutions and collaborate across engineering and business teams to ensure smooth, secure, and scalable IAM operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Serve as a business analyst and technical SME for a federal SailPoint IIQ implementation
• Translate identity / access requirements into SailPoint workflows and configurations
• Support ongoing system upgrades, enhancements, and maintenance releases
• Provide Tier 2 support : debug defects, resolve access issues, and optimize performance
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation for JML (Joiner / Mover / Leaver) processes
• Troubleshoot integrations with AD, LDAP, HRIS, and cloud platforms
• Review and refine BeanShell scripts and policies for IAM automation
• Collaborate with engineers, security teams, and federal stakeholders
• Balance independent work with team collaboration in a fast-paced environment
