Job description

Outstanding opportunity for high energy, experienced Physician Assistant to join our staff of dynamic, highly regarded ED practitioners employed by Associated Physicians of Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (APHMFP) at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth, in Plymouth, Massachusetts as a per diem provider.

Provide direct patient care relative to physical diagnosis and therapeutic management for patients in the Emergency Department working under the supervision of a licensed physician.

    • Join the Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (HMFP) & Associated Physicians of Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (APHMFP) Emergency Medicine network of practitioners clinically serving multiple community EDs and Urgent Care Centers affiliated with the tertiary, academic Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in Boston.

  • 175 emergency medicine physicians and advanced health practitioners
  • Deliver care to over 350,000 patients annually and growing
  • Clinical affiliations with a variety of health systems in the greater Eastern Massachusetts region

    • Job Requirements

  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant
  • Massachusetts state licensure
  • MA Board authorization to practice licensure
  • American Heart Association - Basic Life Support Certificate and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
  • Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred but not required
  • Valid prescriptive authority from both the MA DPH-DCP and Federal DEA
  • Experience in an Emergency Department or Urgent Care Center
  • Competency in provision of care to patients of all ages
