BANQUET HOUSEMAN

Make a meaningful impact as a Banquet Houseman at Moonlight Basin where you will help ensure proper loading, set-up, clean-up, and teardown of all events. The Banquet Houseman will assist with the packing of event items, loading & unloading vehicles, set-up / clean / teardown of all events, including in some cases dishwashing or other cleaning of equipment, venue, etc., and transporting equipment around property.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Assist with venue room set-ups such as tables, chairs, AV equipment, buffet lines, etc.
• Utilize the pack list and Banquet Events Orders (BEOs) to accurately pull, pack, and transport the correct equipment to our various venues and locations on property.
• Attend all pre-shift meetings to ensure events flow smoothly.
• Maintain strict control over all company owned equipment. Cleaning and storing all equipment in a secure and correct manor.
• Operate box truck with hydraulic lift gate to transport event equipment around property.
• Act as a kitchen steward to wash dishes and handle cleaning tasks in the kitchen as needed.
• Communicate any maintenance issues to management including banquet equipment repairs or safety issues.
• Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives.
• Project a favorable image of the company to the public.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
