We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Behavior Technician to support students with diverse behavioral needs, implement individualized intervention plans, and collaborate with educators and families to foster a positive learning environment that promotes academic and social success.

Essential Functions :

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate student needs and provide interventions to redirect behavior.
• Document appropriate data as instructed by the School Wellness Team.
• Implement behavioral programs and interventions designed to facilitate positive changes.
• Assess crises and defuse them using conflict resolution and crisis management techniques.
• Write clear and detailed observations of student behavior.
• Reinforce appropriate behaviors while redirecting negative behaviors.
• Provide value clarification including rules, expectations, and consequences.
• Implement logical consequences for inappropriate behavior.
• With proper training, physically restrain students if necessary for safety.
