Job descriptionBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Medical Dosimetry or a related field. Certified by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB). Strong understanding of radiation safety and technology. Proficiency in dosimetry software and treatment planning systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting as a medical dosimetrist. Experience working with diverse patient populations and various cancer treatment plans. Annual Salary : $113,000 - $169,000, commensurate with experience. Comprehensive health benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage. Retirement savings plan with company match. Job Description : Certified Medical Dosimetrist
Job Type : Fulltime
Job Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists and medical physicists to create radiation treatment plans.
- Use advanced dosimetry software to design optimal radiation dosages for patients.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for treatment plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct treatment delivery, including the setup and calibration of equipment.
- Participate in patient treatments and follow-ups, providing support and education regarding treatment plans and side effects.
- Continuously evaluate and improve techniques and procedures to enhance patient safety and treatment efficacy.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in dosimetry and radiation therapy.
