Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist (ARRT) for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring BLS and the ability to perform diagnostic imaging across all age groups.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a diagnostic imaging setting
  • Perform radiographic examinations according to established protocols
  • Patient population includes neonatal through geriatric
  • 3x10 hour day shifts per week for a 13-week contract
  • Utilize hospital information systems (HIS) and PACS for documentation and imaging
  • Responsible for verifying patient identification and exam orders for accuracy and consistency
  • Maintain compliance with department policies, safety protocols, quality assurance, and radiation protection standards
  • Contribute to effective communication and continuity of care within the healthcare team
  • HIPAA compliance required
  • Must possess or obtain computer skills necessary for online learning and job-specific competencies

    • Requirements

  • Active ARRT certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in radiology preferred
  • Working knowledge of the English language, including speaking, reading, and writing
  • Ability to operate within hospital information systems and PACS
  • License required if applicable
