Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Orthopedic Surgery residency program.

For more than seventy (70) years, Peninsula Orthopaedic Associates has provided exceptional Orthopaedic care to the Delmarva Peninsula community with currently over forty (40) providers1. POA operates six (6) service locations across the Delmarva Peninsula offering a broad spectrum of subspecialty care2, advanced Orthopaedic treatments and diagnostic services. POA s main medical office location, AAAHC Accredited Freestanding Surgery Center and primary Hospital affiliation are in Salisbury, Maryland.

What to expect :

1. As a Peninsula Orthopedics team member, forty percent of the time will be dedicated to the development of the residency program in collaboration with TidalHealth Peninsula Regional Hospital, adjusting to thirty percent allocation after two years. The remaining sixty to seventy percent of the time will be allocated to traditional clinical practice (inpatient, outpatient, etc).

2. 1 : 12 call rotation with 24 / 7 in-hospital PA coverage.

3. Private practice providing world-class orthopaedic care for over 70 years.

4. Sub-specialty practice with Shoulder, Sports Medicine, Spine, Adult Reconstruction, Hand, podiatry (nonoperative,) and Trauma.

5. Multiple revenue streams including high-volume, high-efficiency ASC (high ancillary income,) physical Therapy and Durable Medical Equipment.

6. 14 Physicians, 19 PAs / NPs, 15 PT / Ots.

7. Hospital among top 5% of all U.S. Hospitals for patient care and outcomes.
