Radiology Technologist Job Details Location : New London, CT 06320 (Connecticut healthcare jobs) Facility : Short-term acute care hospital, Level III trauma center Assignment Type : Travel Radiology Technologist Start Date : December 15, 2025 End Date : March 16, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Shifts : 5x8-hour shifts / week (12 : 30pm - 9 : 00pm & 2 : 15pm - 10 : 45pm start times) Hours per Week : 40 Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend required On-Call : As needed Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2370-$2430 Free Parking Charting : EPIC EMR Radiology Technologist Qualifications 2 years of hospital experience required (will accept 1.5 years if Level I or travel experience) Active Connecticut and Rhode Island state radiology licenses ARRT (R) certification required BLS certification required Experience in inpatient, outpatient, ER, and OR imaging Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) Ability to work every other weekend and take call as needed Proficiency in adult acute care, pediatric outpatient, bedside / portable procedures, trauma imaging, and PACS Experience with imaging equipment : Shimatzu, Philips, GE, Samsung, Carestream, Siemens Professional reference required Radiology Technologist Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging procedures for neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics Operate and maintain radiology equipment in inpatient, outpatient, ER, and OR settings Float between Lawrence and Memorial Hospital (CT) and Westerly Hospital (RI) as needed Provide trauma and emergency imaging in a Level III trauma center Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, phlebotomy, pharmacy, interpretation services) Follow isolation precautions and hospital safety protocols Document procedures and patient information in EPIC EMR and PACS Complete orientation and annual training modules Join our healthcare team today and apply for this Connecticut travel Radiology Technologist job!
