Salary : $20-$25 DOE

RJ Kielty is a well-established plumbing, Air and electrical company dedicated to delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction. We pride ourselves on our skilled team and commitment to excellence in every project.

We are seeking a skilled and dependable New Construction Service Technician to join our team at RJ Kielty. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in new construction service, installation, and equipment start-up. This role requires technical expertise, strong administrative skills, and the ability to handle service calls efficiently.

Work Schedule :

Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM
Occasional after-hours / on-demand shifts

Compensation :

$20 - $25 per hour, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform new construction service and equipment installation / start-up.

Evacuate moisture from systems and change refrigerant as needed.

Connect electrical controls and thermostats correctly and safely.

Handle service calls for first-year warranty issues (excluding after-hours calls).

Order parts timely to ensure efficient job completion.

Maintain detailed notes and ensure legible handwriting for record-keeping.

Occasionally provide after-hours support on an on-demand basis.

Safely operate a company vehicle, which can be taken home.

Qualifications :

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in new construction service tech roles.

Strong technical knowledge of HVAC / refrigeration systems and electrical controls.

Good administrative skills with accurate note-taking and record maintenance.

Reliable and punctual with the ability to work independently.

Clean driving record and ability to take home company vehicle.

No sales responsibilities involved in this role.
