The Town of Stallings is seeking a full-time Accounting Technician. This position is responsible for a wide range of administrative and financial duties, including accounts payable, and receivable, purchasing and contract administration, account reconciliation, budget monitoring, and fixed asset management.
The role encompasses both routine and advance, journal-level accounting tasks. Responsibilities also include data entry, document preparation, and maintaining accurate records and files. In addition, the Accounting Technician play a key role in payroll processing verifying time records, calculating wages, and ensuring timely and accurate payment issuance.
