Responsibilities Work in a cardiovascular department providing services to both inpatient and outpatient populations Perform comprehensive 2D echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), and stress echo tests Utilize advanced cardiovascular imaging equipment Monday through Friday schedule with four 10-hour day shifts, 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM, with a rotating day off On-call coverage required Responsible for proper and economical use of equipment and clinical resources Maintains accurate records and files related to echocardiographic procedures Must be able to work with both inpatient and outpatient cardiac patients Scrub or dress code requirements determined by department policy Locals accepted at the same rate unless otherwise specified for certain locations Requirements Associate degree required; Bachelor of Science preferred Maryland license as a Registered Cardiovascular Tech or RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) required if applicable Certification in echocardiography required Current CPR and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required Minimum 5 years of experience performing echocardiograms in a hospital setting Experience in facilities with 500 bed count required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-630598.
