Job descriptionCosting experience (Standad, Average and Job Costing) Department of Defence contract experience Payroll experience Maintain the general ledger and ledger reconcilations Month-end and year-end close processes Prepare account reconcilaitons and financial statements Preparation of internal and external financial reports Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Generate reports to support decision-making for management, including production Assit with external audits Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy Company policies and procedures Bachelor's Degree Bank Reconciliation Excellent Communication Skills
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team.
The Senior Accountant will support the day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accuracy andcompliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and supporting financialreporting and audits.
This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability
to meet tight deadlines.
Position Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting
- Proficient in ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Must be a US citizen
