Job descriptionEmployed Position or Option to Set Up Independent Practice Rural Community Flexible Schedule- No Call Required Outpatient Setting Strong Collaboration with Specialties Large Internal Referral Network Work-Life Balance Patient Diversity (dynamic & fulfilling patient care experience) Opportunity to be involved in Academics through teaching Medical Students 2 hours from New Orleans; 3 hours from Houston 30 minutes to Lafayette Airport with direct flights to Dallas, Houston, Atlanta & Charlotte
Opelousas General Health System is seeking a dedicated full-time Endocrinologist to join our skilled team! Residents / Fellows are encouraged to apply!
Employed Physician Incentives :
- Malpractice- Paid by Hospital
- CME Allowance ($4,000 / year)
- 30 Days of Paid Time Off, 5 days of Extended Illness Time and 5 CME days per year
- Retirement - 3 components
- 457b-tax deferred
- Social Security Replacement (7.65% of Physician's Salary)
- Hospital Contributes 5% of Physician's Salary into Retirement Account
- Health Benefits- 1st of the month following start date.
